     Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become  clogged with oil and dead skin cells. The primary causes of acne include:   1.      Overproduction of oil: Increased sebum production can clog pores. This is common during hormonal changes, especially in teenagers during puberty. Hormonal imbalances, such as those occurring during menstrual cycles or due to certain medical conditions, can also contribute to excess oil production. 2.      Clogged Skin Pores: When dead skin cells don’t shed normally, they can combine with sebum, leading to pore blockages.
